"A Hero is a leader who will take the point in the platoon because he cares for the platoon and he knows it is not only his duty but he also cares greatly for the other members of the platoon because they are the only family he knows. There is an unbreakable bond between each member and the leader, which no civilian can ever duplicate or even begin to comprehend. This is a bond, which will stand the test of time, and it will never fade away or be forgotten. "
